National Day of Prayer


Plan ahead now to participate in the next National Day of Prayer at Central by dropping in to pray at our special Come and Go Prayer Room. 
May 2nd (the First Thursday in May), 2013
6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Room 204 @ Central Christian Church

Room 204  will be set up for quiet individual and small group prayer, with helps such as:
  • Prayer cards
  • Praise helps
  • Confession suggestions
  • Thanksgiving suggestions
  • Intercession cards, programs and booklets to help you pray for the country's seven areas of power:
    • Government
    • Military
    • Media
    • Business
    • Education
    • Church
    • and Family
The Prayer Room will be open from 6:00 a.m. to at least 6:00 p.m.  (later .... to 8:00 p.m.,  if there's enough interest and people signed-up for evening hours). 
             
Toward the end of April 2013, remember to sign up at the table in the hallway near the nursery to indicate when you'll try to come, but if you can't predict for sure, please plan on coming anyway.  Bring a friend to pray with, or your small group, or just come by yourself to spend time with God in intercession.
