Question: If you could go on a mission trip to anywhere in the world, not a vacation, a working mission trip, where would you go?

  Contributor Ice-Breaker Response
  “home to Catacamas - charles”
John & Mary Anderson “God gave Mary and I the destination of Yemen, where the Omani Arabs live. They are among 247 of the unengaged Muslim people groups of over 100K. In Romans 15:20 Pauls said that: It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. We already have a Yemen student friend there that is waiting for us to visit.

Cathy Ballew “Sao Paulo, Itu,and Embuguacu,Brazil”
Trent Ballew “Russia seems like a fertile mission field to me. They also have cool winter hats.”
Melissa Cady “Isn't there work for missionaries in Hawaii?----Melissa”
Bryan & Kim Dickerson “Mexico (just because it's familiar), or

Guatemala”
Steve Dobson “Haiti, my mom went back in the early 80's and i would love to go back with her, but most of all, it would be right in my own country... the United States us christians more than ever to be an example and lead them to the LORD”
Mindee Gilbert “the Balkan region, bosnia or macedonia”
Crystal Laidacker “I would love to return to China. My heart breaks for the people who have never heard of Jesus. The bondage is so heavy upon them and we can share true freedom. Honestly, I would go anywhere. I remember in Germany how it felt so cold and distant from the Father. I'd love to work side-by-side with our sister Joy in Guatemala to raise up a generation that will proclaim the name of Christ. I'd even work with our brothers and sisters in Thailand, Russia, or even Indonesia. Maybe I could help in an educational setting like Ghana (Africa) Christian University or Lakeview Christian Seminary in India or at Haus Edelweiss with TCM! However, I'll still place China as destination #1 on my list. The fields are white...and I'm not talking about the rice!”
Mike & Melody Leftwich “Cozumel had a significant hurricane a few years ago--and we could view the wonders of God's creation while snorkeling.....:-) Seriously, I'd like to help Joy in Guatemala. I'd also like to have a Spanish class leading in to a trip to any country that uses Spanish as it's principal language. Rosetta Stone offers a "class pack" of a self-paced computer based course that's pretty good.”
Kathleen Marshall “Right here in the Berkner Area, encouraging Moms to pray and intercede for their children and their children's schools and teachers.”
