Sports Camp What's it Like To Be Part of Central
What is Central Like?The most important thing to know about what Central is like is who we are - we're people just like you. In fact, we're probably your neighbors. With that said, we try to make Central a place that is just as comfortable to be at as your living room at home. Here are a couple of things you'll notice when you visit:
Church Service Atmosphere
We've all been in church services where you really don't know what is coming up next. At Central, our worship services may change a bit from week to week, but for the most part, you'll just experience singing, praying, greeting, hearing a lesson from God's word and sharing the Lord's Supper together. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and won't include a lot of traditions that will make you feel like you're an outsider or like you don't know what's happening next.
You can expect to have a comfortable but exciting time with your friends, family and neighbors at Central. It's not wild and crazy, but it's not boring, either. It's just normal people enjoying our time together worshipping God and serving each other.
Music
We LOVE to worship the Lord here! On any Sunday, we'll sing 10-14 songs on Sunday morning and they will be a good mixture of old songs and new ones. We have a great band with guitars, drums, keyboards and singers. It's all about lifting up God and letting Him know how much we love Him. Check out our Worship pages for more information.
Dress
You'll see some people in shorts and t-shirts, some people in jeans and some people in suits. Just come in whatever makes you comfortable and that you feel is appropriate attire for worshipping God. God is concerned about what's in the heart, not what clothes you wear and we feel the same way.
Kids
There are special classes for kids during Sunday school and worship. Visit Kid Central for more details of these exciting opportunities for your kids.
Wednesday Nights
We have a great family get-together every Wednesday night and have a meal together.
