PARENTING
PARENTING 101
Modern parents are assaulted on all sides with parenting advice coming from dozens of perspectives - some good and some poor. What is a parent to do?

This class offers time tested parental instruction from the world’s most popular book of all time, The Bible. Instruction begins with foundational perspectives from the scriptures about priorities, relationships, behavior, and the challenges all people face. The student is engaged through hands on assignments that help them both understand themselves better, their relationship with their spouse (or other parental helpers), and with their children. Students will gain a new appreciation of how to nurture each child uniquely while avoiding common parenting mistakes.

Parents will come away from class with strong tools to assist in everyday parenting and methods to help raise mature thinking adults based on Jesus Christ as the perfect example.
This is an 8 week course meeting on Tuesday evenings. Students must pre-register to assure a seat. While this class is geared for parents (or the soon-to-be parents), all ages are welcome. Small children are welcome, but if they become disruptive please plan to remove them from the room to avoid disturbing the session.
Course registration is $15 per class attendee - due at the first class. This covers the cost of the workbook for each attendee.

Complementary child care is provided through age 12, but requires pre-registration.
